The NGET Bible app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use it. You can read the full translation and all concept annotations without identifying yourself in any way.

We do not collect personal data. The only exception is the voluntary feedback form, which allows you to optionally provide your name and phone number. These fields are entirely optional—the form works without them.

Feedback submissions are sent directly to our team via Slack for review. They are not stored in any user-facing database, and we do not use the information for marketing or any purpose other than improving the translation.

We use Heap Analytics to understand how readers use the app—which chapters are read, which features are used, and how we can improve the reading experience. Heap collects anonymous interaction data (screen views, taps, navigation) but does not collect personal information, names, email addresses, or location data. All Bible text, concept annotations, and translation notes in the app are pre-generated content created by the NGET translation team. This is not user-generated content. The translation is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).

The NGET Bible iOS app stores your reader preferences—such as font size and theme—locally on your device only, using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The only third-party service we use is Heap Analytics for anonymous usage analytics. Heap processes interaction data to help us improve the app but does not receive any personal information.

The NGET Bible app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+ on the App Store). Because we do not collect personal data from any users, there is no special data collection from children. The app complies with applicable children’s privacy regulations.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Since we do not collect contact information from most users, this page is the primary way we communicate policy changes.
