Praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh from the heavens — praise him from the heights above.

Praise him, all his messengers — praise him, all his heavenly armies.

Praise him, sun and moon — praise him, all you burning stars.

Praise him, highest heavens — and you waters above the skies.

Let them all praise the name of Yahweh, for he commanded and they were created.

He set them in place forever and always — he drew a boundary they cannot cross.

Praise Yahweh from the earth — you great sea creatures and ocean depths,

fire and hail, snow and thick fog, storm winds that do what he says,

mountains and every hill, fruit trees and towering cedars,

wild animals and all cattle, creeping things and soaring birds,

kings of the earth and every nation, rulers and all who govern the land,

young men and young women alike, the old alongside the young —

let them all praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone stands above everything. His majesty stretches over the earth and the heavens.

He has raised up strength for his people — the praise of all who are devoted to him, for Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise Yahweh!
