Praise Yahweh! Sing to Yahweh a song no one has sung before. Let his praise rise from the gathering of his devoted ones.

Let Israel celebrate the one who made them. Let the children of Zion be glad because of their king.

Let them praise his name with dancing, making music to him with tambourine and lyre.

Because Yahweh takes delight in his people. He crowns the humble with rescue.

Let his devoted ones celebrate with glory, let them sing for joy on their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a double-edged sword in their hands,

to bring justice on the nations and punishment on the peoples,

to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with shackles of iron,

to carry out the justice already written against them. This is the glory given to all his devoted ones. Praise Yahweh!
