Then I saw another sign in the sky -- massive and awe-inspiring: seven angels carrying seven disasters, the final ones, because with them God's fierce anger reaches its completion.

And I saw what looked like a sea made of glass, mixed with fire. Standing beside this glass sea were those who had won their battle against the beast, against its image, against the number of its name. They were holding harps that God had given them,

and they were singing the song of Moses, God's servant, and the song of the Lamb: "Everything you do is massive and awe-inspiring, Yahweh, God of all power. Every path you take is just and true, King over every nation.

Who could possibly not stand in awe of you, Yahweh, and bring honor to your name? Because you alone are good unlike any other. Every nation will come and bow before you, because your just actions have been revealed for everyone to see."

After this I looked, and the innermost sanctuary of the tent of testimony in heaven was thrown open.

Out of the sanctuary came the seven angels carrying the seven disasters. They were dressed in clean, bright linen, with gold bands wrapped around their chests.

Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the fierce anger of God -- the one who lives an unlimited, never-ending life.

And the sanctuary was filled with smoke from God's glory and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven disasters carried by the seven angels had run their full course.
