Everything I am celebrates Yahweh; let the broken-down hear it and be glad.

Join me in declaring how great Yahweh is; let's lift up his name together.

I went looking for Yahweh, and he answered me — he pulled me out of every fear I had.

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered in shame.

This broken man cried out, and Yahweh heard him — he rescued him from all his troubles.

The messenger of Yahweh stands guard around those who honor him, and he gets them out safely.

Taste and see for yourself that Yahweh is good. Life is good for the one who takes shelter in him.

Honor Yahweh, you who are set apart for him — those who honor him never go without.

Young lions may go hungry and starve, but those who look to Yahweh will not lack any good thing.

Come here, children, and listen to me — I'll teach you what it means to honor Yahweh.

Guard your tongue from harm, and keep your lips from speaking lies.

Walk away from what's wrong and do what's good; go after peace and chase it down.

Yahweh's eyes are on those who do right, and his ears are open to their cries.

But Yahweh sets his face against those who do wrong — he will wipe their memory from the earth.

When the ones who do right cry out, Yahweh hears them and pulls them out of all their troubles.

Yahweh is close to the shattered-hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

The troubles of those who do right are many, but Yahweh pulls them out of every single one.

He guards every bone in their body — not one of them will be broken.

Destruction kills those who do wrong; those who hate the ones who do right will pay for it.
