Yahweh, the king finds his strength in you. How deeply he celebrates the rescue you bring!

You gave him everything his heart longed for. You did not hold back what his lips asked.

You met him with rich goodness, set a crown of pure gold on his head.

He asked you for life, and you gave it — days stretching on and on, without end.

His honor runs deep because of your rescue. You drape him in splendor and weight.

You make him a source of goodness that lasts, and fill him with joy just by being near.

The king puts his confidence in Yahweh. Because the Most High is so deeply loyal, he will never be shaken.

Your hand will find every one of your enemies. Your right hand will reach those who hate you.

When you show up, you will turn them into a blazing furnace. Yahweh will swallow them in his fierce anger, and fire will consume them.

You will wipe their descendants from the earth, their children from among the living.

Even though they plotted evil against you, even though they schemed — they will not succeed.

You will put them to flight. You will aim your bow straight at their faces.

Rise up, Yahweh, in your strength! We will sing and make music to celebrate your power.
