Shout to God with joy, all the earth!

Sing about the weight of his name! Make your praise match how magnificent he is!

Say to God, "How awe-striking is everything you do! Your power is so overwhelming that your enemies grovel before you."

All the earth will bow before you — they will sing to you, they will sing about your name!

Come and see what God has done — his actions toward humanity are awe-striking.

He turned the sea into dry land; they crossed the river on foot — right there, we celebrated because of him!

He rules by his power forever; his eyes watch over the nations — let no rebel lift themselves up against him.

Praise our God, you peoples! Let the sound of his praise be heard everywhere!

He is the one who keeps us among the living and does not let our feet stumble.

Because you tested us, God; you refined us the way silver is refined.

You brought us into a net; you laid crushing weight on our backs.

You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water — but you brought us out to a place of abundance.

I will come into your house with whole burnt offerings; I will make good on the promises I made to you —

the ones my lips spoke and my mouth said out loud when I was in trouble.

I will offer you fattened animals as burnt offerings, with the rising smoke of rams; I will prepare bulls and goats for you.

Come and listen, all of you who stand in awe of God, and I will tell you what he did for me.

I cried out to him with my mouth, and praise was already on my tongue.

If I had held on to corruption in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

But God has listened; he paid attention to the sound of my prayer.

Praise God, who did not turn away my prayer or withhold his unwavering love from me.
