I lift my eyes toward the hills — where will my help come from?

My help comes from Yahweh, the maker of the sky and the earth.

He won't let your foot slip — the one who watches over you won't fall asleep.

Look — the one who watches over Israel will never doze off, will never fall asleep.

Yahweh watches over you — Yahweh is the shade at your right hand.

The sun won't strike you by day, or the moon by night.

Yahweh will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your whole life.

Yahweh will watch over your coming and going, from now until forever.
