My heart is steady, God — I will sing, I will make music with everything I am.

Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake the dawn itself.

I will thank you among the peoples, Yahweh. I will sing to you among the nations.

Because your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and your reliability reaches to the skies.

Rise above the heavens, God! Let your radiance cover the whole earth.

So that those you love may be set free — rescue us with your strong hand, answer me!

God has spoken from his sacred place: "I will celebrate! I will divide up Shechem and measure out the Valley of Sukkoth.

Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim is the helmet on my head. Judah is my ruler's staff.

Moab is my washbasin. Over Edom I throw my sandal. Over Philistia I shout in triumph!"

Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

Haven't you rejected us, God? You no longer march out with our armies.

Give us help against the enemy — human help is worthless.

With God we will be unstoppable — he is the one who will crush our enemies.
