Everything in me, praise Yahweh. Every part of who I am, praise his set-apart name.

Everything in me, praise Yahweh — don't forget a single thing he's done for you.

He forgives every one of your failures. He heals every one of your diseases.

He rescues your life from the grave. He crowns you with his faithful love and tender compassion.

He fills your life with good things so that your youth is renewed like an eagle's.

Yahweh brings justice and makes things right for everyone who has been crushed.

He revealed his ways to Moses, his actions to the people of Israel.

Yahweh overflows with compassion and undeserved kindness, slow to get angry, and relentless in faithful love.

He won't keep accusing forever. He won't hold onto his anger endlessly.

He hasn't treated us the way our failures deserve. He hasn't paid us back for the wrong we've done.

As high as the sky stretches above the earth, that's how vast his faithful love is for those who honor him.

As far as east is from west, that's how far he's removed our failures from us.

The way a father is tender with his children — that's how Yahweh is tender with those who honor him.

Because he knows what we're made of. He remembers that we are dust.

As for humans — our days are like grass. We bloom like a wildflower in an open field.

The wind passes over it, and it's gone — the place where it stood doesn't even remember it.

But Yahweh's faithful love is from everlasting to everlasting for those who honor him, and his justice extends to their children's children —

for those who keep his covenant and remember to live by what he's said.

Yahweh has set his throne in the heavens, and his reign extends over everything.

Praise Yahweh, you messengers of his — you powerful ones who carry out what he says, who respond the moment he speaks.

Praise Yahweh, all his armies — you who serve him and carry out what he wants.

Praise Yahweh, everything he has made, every corner of his reign. Everything in me — praise Yahweh.
