Yahweh spoke to Moses:

"Tell the Israelites: Anyone among you — or any foreigner living among you — who gives any of their children to Molek must be put to death. The people of the land must stone them.

I myself will turn against that person and cut them off from their people, because they gave their child to Molek — contaminating my sacred place and degrading my name.

If the people of the land look the other way when someone gives their child to Molek and don't put that person to death,

then I myself will turn against that person and their family. I will cut them off — along with everyone who followed them into unfaithfulness with Molek — from their people.

"If anyone turns to mediums or spiritists, being unfaithful by chasing after them, I will turn against that person and cut them off from their people.

"Set yourselves apart and be set apart, because I am Yahweh your God.

Keep my rules and follow them. I am Yahweh, the one who sets you apart."

"Anyone who curses their father or mother must be put to death. They cursed their own father or mother — their blood is on their own hands.

"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife — with his neighbor's wife — both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

If a man sleeps with his father's wife, he has violated what belongs to his father. Both of them must be put to death — their blood is on their own hands.

If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have committed a perversion — their blood is on their own hands.

If a man sleeps with another man as one sleeps with a woman, both of them have done something detestable. They must be put to death — their blood is on their own hands.

If a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is depraved. He and both women must be burned with fire, so there will be no depravity among you.

If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal too.

If a woman approaches any animal to mate with it, you must kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death — their blood is on their own hands.

If a man marries his sister — whether his father's daughter or his mother's daughter — and they have sexual relations, it is a disgrace. They must be publicly cut off from their people. He has violated his sister — he will bear the consequences.

If a man sleeps with a woman during her period, both of them have exposed the source of her blood flow. Both must be cut off from their people.

Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister or your father's sister, because that violates a close relative. Both will bear the consequences.

If a man sleeps with his uncle's wife, he has violated what belongs to his uncle. They will bear their failure — they will die childless.

If a man marries his brother's wife, it is impurity. He has violated what belongs to his brother — they will be childless.

"Keep all my rules and all my standards and follow them, so that the land I am bringing you to live in doesn't vomit you out.

Don't follow the customs of the nation I am driving out ahead of you. They did all these things, and I was disgusted by them.

But I told you: You will take possession of their land. I am giving it to you as your own — a land flowing with milk and honey. I am Yahweh your God, who has set you apart from all other peoples.

"So you must distinguish between clean animals and unclean ones, and between unclean birds and clean ones. Don't make yourselves detestable by eating any animal or bird or creature that moves along the ground — any that I have set apart as unclean for you.

You must be set apart for me, because I, Yahweh, am set apart, and I have set you apart from all other peoples to be mine.

"Any man or woman among you who is a medium or spiritist must be put to death. They must be stoned — their blood is on their own hands."
