"Don't let your hearts be shaken. You trust God — trust me too."

"In my Father's house there are many rooms. If that weren't true, would I have told you I'm going to get a place ready for you?"

"And if I go and get a place ready for you, I'll come back and take you to be with me so that you'll be where I am."

"You know the way to where I'm going."

Thomas said to him, "Master, we don't even know where you're going. How can we know the way?"

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

"If you really knew me, you would know my Father too. From now on, you do know him — you've been looking at him."

Philip said to him, "Master, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

Jesus answered, "I've been with you all this time, Philip, and you still don't know me? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. So how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?"

"Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The things I say to you aren't just coming from me — the Father, who lives in me, is doing his work through me."

"Believe me when I say I am in the Father and the Father is in me — or at least believe because of the things you've seen me do."

"I'm telling you the truth: anyone who trusts in me will do the same things I've been doing — and even greater things than these, because I'm going to the Father."

"And whatever you ask in my name, I'll do it, so that the Father's greatness shines through the Son."

"If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it."

"If you love me, you'll follow what I've asked you to do."

"And I'll ask the Father, and he'll give you another one who will come alongside you and be with you forever — "

"the Breath of truth. The world can't receive him because it doesn't see him or know him. But you know him because he lives with you and will be inside you."

"I won't leave you as orphans — I'm coming back to you."

"In a little while the world won't see me anymore, but you'll see me. Because I live, you'll live too."

"Whoever has my instructions and follows them — that's the person who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I'll love them and reveal myself to them."

Judas (not Judas Iscariot, a different one) asked him, "Master, why are you going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?"

Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, they'll follow what I say. My Father will love them, and we'll come to them and make our home with them."

"Anyone who doesn't love me won't follow what I say. And these words you're hearing aren't just mine — they come from the Father who sent me."

"I've told you all of this while I'm still here with you."

"But the one who will come alongside you — the Breath of God, whom the Father will send in my name — he will teach you everything and remind you of everything I've said to you."

"Peace — I'm leaving you with peace. I'm giving you my peace. I don't give the way the world gives. Don't let your hearts be shaken, and don't be afraid."

"You heard me say, 'I'm going away and I'm coming back to you.' If you loved me, you'd be glad I'm going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am."

"I've told you this now, before it happens, so that when it does happen, you'll trust me."

"I won't be talking with you much longer. The ruler of this world is coming, and he has no power over me."

"But I do exactly what the Father has told me to do, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Get up — let's go."
